Esquire, I like the way you think… If you want to see the cover of the new Esquire magazine featuring the ultra sexy Megan Fox come to life, you can go online and look at the rushes from the magazine cover shoot, done on a RED ONE camera. There she is… getting hot in a bikini… getting out of bed… rolling around on a pool chair… you’re already clicking through, I know:
The cross platform campaign was shot by Greg Williams, war photographer turned entertainment snapper (and why not when you can get gigs like this?) and included the studio component which was used for the cover shot of the May 2009 issue, as well as a microsite and banner advertising that featured the hot moving magazine cover.
I think we’re only seeing the beginning of what can be done in cross platform with the 4K RED format: Commercials, Branded Content, Webisodes, Magazine Covers, Microsites, Banners… all being shot on one system.
